Species : Ailurus fulgens - Red Panda The red panda is an arboreal mammal (not a bear), also called shining-cat, which comes from Asia (from Himalaya to western China). It has a thick reddish-brown fur and a fluffy ringed tail which helps him resist cold in mountains up to 5000m altitude. Bamboo is its favorite food, but it also feeds on berries, nuts, insects and even bird's eggs. Size : 50-60 cm lengh (head and body). Weight : 3-6 kg. The red panda is an endangered species.

Another red panda thing! It might look like I give high estimate to every picture that has a red panda on it, but it's not like that! Your red panda pictures are very different from what I used to see. Your ability to capture the expression of the animal is just fantastic and should be appreciated!
To tell the truth, I spent hours looking at this cutie and.. the more I look at it, the more I like it. Your picture allow to see red pandas from a differen dimension.. different perspective, so to say. This is a very outstanding photo!<3
