Species : Dacelo novaeguineae - Laughing Kookaburra The Laughing Kookaburra comes from eastern Australia and is spread throughout south-western parts of Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand. Recognize this bird is quite easy (by sight or by its unique koo-koo-koo-kaa-kaa loud scream which reminds us laughter). The Laughing Kookaburra is monogamous. This bird's nest is usually a simple hole in a tree. During the breeding, the males take the parenting responsibilities just like the female and they both take part equally during incubation time.
Hey wow, I took some pictures of a bird just like this and didn't know what kind it was! Now I do. And wonderful shot and focus, I love his gallant pose.
