Here is Himalaya, the new kitty in our cat family (we already had five cats : Cassiopée, Cyrano, Dionysos, Emée and Yunnan).
My parents found the little guy next to our holidays house, he was around 5 months old, alone and starving. We've been searching for his owners... but we haven't found anything (neighbours, advert, vets...). I'm sure some people abandonned him. He surely was growing too quickly and wasn't a "so cute kitten" anymore for some vacationists. He is so cuddly... I totally believe he did live with human people before.
In conclusion, we've adopted him. He has totally been adopted by our cats (Dinoysos and Cyrano immediatly licked him as their little brother). I like to believe Himalaya have found a good family with us !

Beautiful photo!!! You have always worked perfectly convey the mood of the animal, each of your work is filled with some positives) I like it very much! The cat is the center of the picture, her eyes just mesmerizing. Paw... well what can I say about her... she is not in focus, that draws all the attention on the cat's face... his eyes as if looking at us... Protruding ear adds slight negligence (I think so). Long bristling whiskers I always like, they also like the ear with his paw add something unusual... Background adds softness and light (beautiful tile).
Great photo, although I wish you had zoomed out just a bit more, so the ends of the whiskers on the right-hand side were not cut off. Good setting, as the blue and white tile and the pink blanket show off the kitty's browns and grey nicely, and the focus being just on the cat's face and eyes is nice. It is good that you got it with the cat looking right into the lens, as it makes it feel like he's staring us in the eye. The slight blur on the extended paw is even nice, a bit of implies motion there. All in all, a good job, and a classic cat pose!
As for those [censored] mofos who do things like this to the little ones, like throw them out, etc, I cannot even begin to express my feelings on this issue! All profanity detectors would go redlined and explode! Bah!
Sounds like Himalaya lucked out when he found you. What a nice relaxed pose. You can tell he is already adjusting to his new home. We just had the same thing happen with a 3-4 month kitten, who we called Alvin. I have to believe he belonged to someone once since he was so people friendly, but we found him a new home with a couple who needed their own kitty.
J'ai l'impression qu'il est bien installé en effet Très belle histoire. Quand je vois son adorable bouille sur ta superbe photo, je me demande franchement comment on a pu l'abandonner ?! Parfois j'ai vraiment du mal à comprendre le genre humain...
Background adds softness and light (beautiful tile).
